I don't know why either, I guess because I have such awesome memories growing up of soccer road trips in my buddy's conversion van with the SNES hooked up, making out with my high school prom date in my buddy's conversion van, driving up to the Flatirons in college in this "communal van" we all pitched in on to go skiing, etc. etc.

Yeah, a couple of years ago they were but they've been creeping back up into high 30/low40 for stock 80-100k mile ones.
I was hoping they'd dip into the mid 20s so I could finally justify pulling the trigger.
