Dominos rebound is pretty damn impressive. I remember my dad ordering a pizza from them way back before they decided to revamp their recipe, eating it, and thinking this is absolutely the worst pizza I have ever had. Having the balls to publicly admit their product was inferior was a great move IMO. That marketing campaign of "Hey we suck, but we are working on a new recipe" was brilliant. I still don't think their pizza is great, but it definitely ranks up there for me for chain delivery pizza. It's all we ordered in college and the pizza tracker is the greatest invention of all time.

We like Domino's, mostly because it's the only pizza place that delivers around here.

I was in the same boat, I avoided Domino's for a long time too and when this dude stepped in everything just magically started tasting better. Not great like pizzeria great but much better. He also orchestrated their hiring of actual chefs to put other stuff on their menu besides pizza that tasted good. I've tried some of their other items and they're not bad for a delivery / carry out option

Their new (circa 2013 I think?) Pan Pizza is actually really good. Greasy as hell, but good.

Yeah I hated Domino's for a long time but now it's actually good for delivery pizza. Doesn't compare to the best brick & mortar restaurant pizza, but what fast food compares to real restaurant food?

Domino's was my go to delivery pizza in college and since. Marcos is usually what we get now because only really order pizza when with my dad and he's a die hard New Yorker so he doesn't even consider places like Domino's as pizza. He'll compromise with me and get Marco's at least cause our local NY pizza places don't deliver and don't know how to put bacon on pizza ( don't pre cook it so it's still raw when pizza is ready to come out).

The one time I convinced my dad that Domino's had really changed and isn't half bad, we got a couple shitty pizzas after a super long wait. I agree they were shitty, it was just a bad night for that particular place but my dad gave the manager so much on the phone, I'm pretty sure she cried (my dad can be a dick) but she was kind of arguing with him I think. If I recall, she offered him free stuff and he said he didn't even want it. That's my Domino's story. And the last time we were allowed to order Domino's while doing work around his house or something

my WV house only had dominos for delivery. Their thin-crust supreme is actually pretty good. The thing that bugs the shit out of me about them though, is that large pizza, delivered with delivery fee and tax, tip..was $24

Meanwhile, if you ordered a 1 topping special, you could literally get 6 of them for that price..what the fuck

Pepperoni Pan is my go to if I am ordering Dominos. Their garlic butter is shit though. That may be the only thing Papa John's has going for them.

Yeah wifey was the one who is all about the garlic sauce, I don't mess with that stuff.  Dominos charges extra for each cup too (she ordered four because she thought I wanted some too  )
