Haven't caught up on S3 yet - similar to answer before, it requires some brainpower and attention i haven't quite felt up to yet.

Would my fiancé like Mr robot? She is usually not that into things she calls "boy movies" which is a term that triggers me every time she mentions it now.
She will sit through episodes of walking dead if I'm already watching it though. We're always looking for new shows even though we are already way behind on literally every show we watch. (watching shows with someone is really difficult when you're on different schedules)

Sidenote, is anyone excited for Bright? I think that's the name. The Netflix series with will Smith as a cop with faires and shit. Think it comes out in December?
The trailer seemed entraining and I'm usually a Will Smith fan so I'll definitely give it a shot

Just kidding. Bright is a Netflix movie I guess. Definitely felt like a series but maybe cause I wasn't expecting Netflix to make a "big budget" film.

Vikings is back tomorrow.
Started watching The Punisher. Pretty good so far. Nothing amazing, but it has been entertaining and full of action.

Just watched first two episodes of Star Trek Discovery... wow... way better than I expected. I'd dismissed it because I assumed CBS relegated it to online only due to quality, but it's quite the opposite. This series definitely watches much more like the Trek movies than it does the previous series. It seems the trend for high production value in online series has influenced the making of this, which can be good or bad, depending on your perspective. I am personally enjoying it.

Glad you checked it out! That's what I've been saying! It's actually very, very well done. I really like how they have been building up Jason Isaac's character Captain Lorka. He is much edgier / more militaristic (due to the storyline) than a lot of the captains of the past, kind of like a troubled version of Sisko from DS9 when he fought The Dominion.
We have kept up with it every week but were bummed when they quit airing them until January. I think I read that they already ordered the next season and possibly a third.
Vikings 2 hour season premier was epic. I didn't think the series would hold up as well after Ragnar died but I was very wrong. They have done a great job of developing the crazy psyche of Ivar
And not to spoil the next few episodes of Discovery but this is a super interesting theory that I definitely did not pick up on during the last episode (read after you watch the last episode): http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/11/13/s...-real-plan

Don't remember if it's been mentioned but if you like sci fi stuff, The 100 has really gotten me hooked. It seems kind of low budget and sometimes the storyline is a little stupid but overall, it's been pretty entertaining. And they've done some interesting things with character developments. Without giving away too much hopefully, characters aren't set in stone. I'm not even sure what channel it's on if it's on one but the first 4 seasons are on Netflix.
Edit: it's a CW show which doesn't surprise me with the look, feel, dialogue, and plot but still entertaining none the less

Not really a TV show, but nowhere else to discuss...Rex told me to watch The Driver (netflix original) which I think Tyler also plugged. It was actually a good movie about a wheelman (duh) with a good plot, great amount of action, and fantastic driving. If you have 90 minutes to kill I recommend it.

One more episode of The Punisher then I am starting this. Would recommend The Punisher. Great action - getting a little outlandish kind of like the early seasons of Homeland, but still enjoyable.

We started Mr Robot but didn't finish S1. We both liked it, need to pick that one back up.

Watched the Driver and it was alright. I'd recommend it if you have time to kill.
Paul Hollywood's Big Continental Road Trip on Netflix isn't too bad. Edit: I actually really enjoyed the first episode and highly recommend it.
American Vandal is funny/entertaining if you like that type of comedy, ridiculousness, and satire.
