I don't have a second app that does what their old app did because fuck that. If you read that article you would realize that anyone on fb could track you down to exact coordinates even if they were not friends with you in fb. I'm not an idiot. I realize nothing is private but I'm good on anybody knowing where I'm standing at any minute.

If you're on Android, it does everything you need in one place. If you're on iphone... well... tough shit.
I don't use Messenger or native SMS any more. My contacts are 50/50 on those two services, so makes life easy peasy. I have quite a few contacts whose # I've never obtained because the ease of Messenger.

Not really - none of my friends use it. I think Joey is the only one I communicate with using it. Meanwhile, nearly everyone has a gmail address and therefore has Gchat, easier.
Only half joking, maybe it's a regional thing?
