Oh yeah for sure when my wallet supports it I have no issue with that. $120 per good alignment is a killer right now on me.

How many times you get your alignment done a year?

Edit: looks like it is time to hit up RPM so I can get my baller rims chromed out and get JDM lights along with a bouncing sound system.

Typically 1 to 2 times a season. MachV does a bang up job and so does RRT (but more expensive). I think MachV is only like $110 which isnt terrible compared to having to deal with numbnuts at the Merchants Counter.

If only there was one in Richmond. Ron Ellis or Mincz or Thurston or Johnson may be my best shots

You get what you pay for. I understand your feelings that they should be able to create the specs you want, but you went to an everyday tire shop. They aren't trained to do set ups like that and probably have policies against straying from OEM specs. $120 for an alignment is a lot, but seems to be in line with the going rate at performance shops. That's what I paid 3-4 years ago when I lowered the accord and got the alignment done.

For sure I understand that I'm just spoiled from the other Firestone is all. Luckily it looks like NASA canceled their August Summit so looks like a good alignment is in the budget now

Mincz tire should be able to set you up right. Give them a call.

I went to the Firestone in Midlothian like 3 weeks ago and they had no problem setting me to custom specs, so you might want to try there next time. However, I wouldn't wait on the car, they may have got the settings right but I dropped the car off at 8am for my appointment and when I called when I was off work at 5:30 they said "oh your car is next, it'll be done by 6pm" haha at least the 10 hours later I had a good alignment.

Ron Ellis is one of the best in area but I don't know if they do custom specs. I don't see why they wouldn't. I know if other shops say they can't get a car aligned after am accident, insurance companies send it to Ron Ellis.

Don't go near merchants here. At least in midlothian. They've cross threaded like 4 of my buddies lugs. Two of which were on the same wheel and they didn't tell him, just sent him on his way to find it when he got home.

I like the option it gives and I've followed it from pretty much it's origins so the innovation I see from new products interests me. I've helped prep and respray an entire vehicle (my truck) and it took over 6 months of a few hours here and there and the thing had to get taken apart almost completely. And we couldn't go for a color change because it would have probably taken another 3 months or something so the fact you can change the color or finish of your car and it look halfway decent (no not perfect but pretty damn good and resprays aren't perfect anyway) in a weekend for between $200 and $1000 really interests me. Painter who did mine estimates it would have been a $5-8k job with labor and materials so Yea....I'm a bit obsessed if that's what you want to call it lol

Almost did it. I just decided to let Scott do my whole car instead for now as the price was too good to say no with the sale. There will be more sales and I'm sure I'll eventually do it myself, but for now I just want to see how it is first. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Hopefully my color will work out it may be a hit or miss.

You doing what you did on your wheels?

Going to put the top coat over it for a gloss finish?

I actually need to get about 5 more blue pigment samples from kp pearls. Oh yea, i got some speed shapes too. Lots of testing ahead.

In recent events I've decided I'm going to cut out a 3'x3' square from my hood. How much do you think this will lower my engine bay temperatures? Do you think this will create any turbulence?
