I don't really have the time, being in school. I could work every second of every day if I wanted to...

If you don't have time to work to fund your second "fun" car (or mod your first one), you don't have time to be buying a second car. Seriously, I think you underestimate the amount of time and resources it can/will consume. That is, unless your parents are going to bankroll it all; if so, YOLO.
This is coming from somebody who had 2+ cars in H-burg every year but my freshman, and has had 3-5 for the past 10 years. I worked the whole time I was in college (weeknights and weekends) and had a blast and wouldn't take it back, but easy it was not.

True true. Well, I've talked to my manager and told them I want to work even more. We'll see how it goes.
I mean don't feel like we are beating you up and making you feel like you should be working more while you're in school haha...you've got your whole life to work. I think the OGs just wanted you to understand what you are getting yourself into with multiple car ownership in college.
What annoyed me the most, for those of you that remember, was I worked so hard to have money in my pocket and pay for my WRX + insurance while in school and some dick keyed my car on the hood, trunk and every panel when I was living in Hunters Ridge (it was ghetto then but not as much as it is now). I ended up driving around the old Subaru wagon we had at home and left the WRX in NOVA...so I couldn't even enjoy the fruits of my labor until I got home.

+1 civic.
Sell outs. I'll be writing my Civic into my will.
Multiple cars suck, I have 3 and I leave the s2000 at home because people don't respect cars up here and it was getting fresh dings everyday. College is really tough on cars, like really tough especially project cars. My M3 sat for months on end waiting for me to afford parts for it. And it sat at home, not here. Its a bitch to work on cars in parking lots and the new MM garages would be nice but not for a big project that might not move under its own power. If you want a fun car, save And buy something you can at least drive maybe mod if you want. But a full build will be really hard in school.

I really appreciate the feedback and I'm thinking about definitely waiting until AT LEAST summer before I think of anything. Then at least I should have some money and I can work on it at home.
I'm just too impatient about wanting to do stuff with MM, haha. Maybe once I get my truck built, I won't be.

If you can drive manual reasonably well, there should at least be some opportunities to autocross alumni cars.
