What is up with these people that drive 'em 2000 miles a year? Most motorcycles get more than that. It's not like these were designed to be garage queens, collector's cars. What's the point? :dunno:
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a van is a good guy with a van
Second point....why would i trade my nsx for it.

Pretty cool - modded AMG SL55 AMG, 600hp.... I saw an SL550 the other day and it made some nice noises.

Those cars are fun to drive. I can't imagine one with another 100hp.

I have an aston martin thing. Why wouldnt you, too, when for <30k you can have a "well vetted" (in my mind, higher mileage isnt a bad thing on these, means the kinks are worked out) v12 manual?

Meh. I'm really not a fan of the styling on any of the Aston's I could ever hope to afford, they just look so dated.
Also, thinking "the kinks are worked out" of a $30k, 65k mile V12 Aston was like me thinking I wouldn't have to fix a VW with 60k miles on it.

Well, I'd rather have a DB9 for sure but the DB7s still came in a manual. I think one of the biggest problems is if you try to back up a hill or something, reverse is geared too high. Clutch is expensive, but thats apparently the most common time they fail. Just always park facing out and never use it and you'll be in good shape.
DB9's dont come in manual I dont think. Vantage V8s do, which I also have a boner for, but they are still a bit high, and it kind of irks me that they used the 4.3 in the first few years of it.

When I worked at the shop I drove a manual Vantage around the block, no idea what year or what motor it had. I didn't dare flog on it because I didn't have written permission, but it sounded absolutely fantastic, and drove really well, fantastic interior.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
Not bad. But still glad I went with the fozzy.
