BMW is going away tonight. I picked this truck up from my long-time friend up in MD last night. He's letting me drive it until I get the ST. First impressions - it's slow but torquey, the tires suck, having no weight over the drive wheels sucks in the rain (I learned that last night), the heater and radio work well, and the simplicity of the thing is refreshing.



It's a 1998 Ranger 4.0L with 4WD and 5-speed manual. 151k. And it's kinda-sorta for sale once I'm done with it.

Update from Ford on Twitter (they really have the social media thing down) - ETA of New Year's Eve, the 31st. Naturally, I'll be out of town. I guess the 1st or 2nd will be when I make the journey to Koons to pick her up...
