Bought the Sennheiser - Earbud Stereo Headphones (CX 200)

I have already placed 2.63g of music on the Nano...Wonder if I should have gotten a larger version than the 4g... Then again, most of my music is at 256kbps because I am a music snob....

that's always my response... i was ready with it... UNTIL he said he was pleased with the SQ of the stock earbuds.

Well it is the first set I have any experience with so maybe they are not that good?!? They seemed better than I expected, is that a better description?

they are very bad. yes, better description. buying headphones sucks. especially earbuds. if you get anything with much customizability, you're paying out the ass. if you buy something else, there's a strong chance they won't fit well and you'll be stuck with it.

buy something that you think will fit better and costs more than $20 and i think you'll do alright.

Evan Wrote:the 2nd link I posted has an ear loop and are on sale for 35

I used to rock ear loops and loved them... until I got a neck band. I had to go back to ear loops for a few weeks while my second SX pair were on order and they drove me nuts. The only reason I kept them is because they're really the only thing that works for me wearing a motorcycle helmet. I guess I kinda forgot snowboarding is a full helmet.

Of course I just bought a set of QC15's for plane/travel use... so now I have three pairs of headphones.

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

OK, Now off the next episode in this tale.... Anybody use a snowboard/ski helmet with earbuds? Not sure I want to use these fabulous sennheisers since I would not be able to hear anything else around me... Might be a good idea to hear the hotties calling me over while I am rocking the slopes.....

I have seen some helmets that are already equipped with speakers and also other helmet kits... Anybody use these?

I have a few friends who use the helmet kits - they love them.

They can hear the music fine and still have some situational awareness

So it turns out that my lame-o helmet wasn't built for speakers. I went to Ski Chalet and looked into some headphones for it, hopefully to retro fit something in there. Then I thought I would just get a new helmet. I started thinking that if I were going to get a new helmet, I might as well get a new jacket.......you see where this is going? Finally I came to my senses and bought Skullcandy speakers for my lame helmet and fitted them in when I got home. I can't believe I have been boarding without these! Now I just need to contain my wonderful singing talent while in the lift line and I will be good.
