The walls have been painted before, and also, its going to be contractor white. This isn't inside the house, so its not like its gotta be a spectacular job, its just got to cover up the scuffs from the 4 kids that lived here before us.

So is anyone else up for working, I believe I need a special torx bit if anyone has that laying around? Also it isn't running now, so I think it is maybe the starterr, so maybe a rolling start could get it up and going?

The video you showed me sounded like a weak battery since the starter was turning at least it sounded like it was turning, I would try a jump first just for the hell of it

when was the last time you drove the car? the last time it started? Hard to believe the starter is dead, those things have a pretty good lifespan unless exposed to tremendous heat.

Im with Matt, if the car was turning, Battery is more then likely the culprit.

I'll try the battery first, last time it was running was 2 days ago, didn't start yesterday, I drove 2 hours up here.

It's all good, I may have a subaru tech at home check it out if he is free. And I tried jumping, no good.. I'm almost sure it's the starter

You can always try to hitting the starter with a decent sized hammer. That's usually only a temporary solution but it should work a couple of times to get the car moved

Yeah I don't have any tools at my dorm/ in my car... I'm gonna try a nice rolling start
