Anyone want to help? - ispoonwithmugen - 01-16-2012
Alright so I'm a freshman in college. And I really need some help locally. Since I live in my dorm, I obviously have no access to tools or space. So I was hoping someone local could help me and maybe have some other people swing by and help out too. I need the clutch changed out on my 02 wrx, I also want to throw on the stock suspension for the winter, and also put back on the stock brakes. I don't really have any money.. Roughly 30 dollars or so, so maybe I could buy some beers and food? Haha, If anyone would be able to help I would be very grateful. I can not do anything this upcoming weekend (girlfriends birthday) or the weekend of the 3-5 (my birthday). But any other weekend I'm good to go. Just post up on here if you would be down to help/ or could provide housing.

Feel free to PM me when you are going to start working and I might be able to help out depending on my schedule. I have a full 300 piece ratchet set, metric and standard open end/ratcheting wrench sets, and a bunch of other stuff at my house. Lincoln, Chris and I were just talking about wrenching the other day and I'm sure they would be willing to help out for a couple of beers. You can find me on facebook if you want (Jon Polen).

Since there is no turducken this weekend, you are welcome to my garage if you don't mind shifting stuff around. (Unless your GF is taking up all three days)

I'm down to lend a hand if I am not working or doing school crap. As far as a location, Rex's would probably be your best bet and my place sucks becasue it is outside and on a hill.

NO. Sorry, but with the floor looking all nice and the walls getting painted within the week, you cannot add new colors.

^hahahah, by the way does anyone have experience with taking the tranny out of a wrx? From what i've heard, you pull wires, pull axles, diconnect differential from back and body and it pulls right out and then disconnect the tranny?

Don't know anything about dropping subaru trannies, but I do know I could use a hand painting the garage. Anyone free this afternoon/friday? Single coat of white, easy business.

That's about it. I think the clutch fork is an issue sometimes, but I can't remember since it's been so long since I pulled mine. I know theres a sticky on Nasioc about it though.
