Yeah its my crappy cell phone haha. Took forever to get it on since we didn't have anything to mount it too when we took the old one off so ill cover up the screws on the sides and stuff later but currently they aren't too noticeable.

Thought I would post some pics since most of them have been crappy cell pics. Today was warm enough for T-tops even thought it would have been better if the sun was out.

I like it black, I almost think it'd make the car too nose-heavy done body color.

-1, I think it would look better painted :dunno:
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

You drive a Taurus, a Grand Prix, and a DSM. You would need like a -3 for it to mean anything.

I'm gonna paint it eventually, I think it will look good but the black turned out to be a lot better than I thought it was gonna be.

AshSpec ECU upgrade was installed earlier then washed it and drove it for the first time in weeks, so glad. Gotta adjust the timing to 15 degrees but my dad has done it a few times and has the timing light so he should be able to do it, if not ill get it done. I can defiantly notice a huge difference and it will run smoother because we just put some BG 44k cleaner in.

Didn't get too into it, just a quick degreasing.
Yes I know the engine is huge. Someone said an LS1 is actually a little bit smaller

Seafoamed it earlier and holy shit its a huge improvement for me. These engines can carbon buildup pretty good if you don't drive it hard and since I baby it, it definitely needed it. A lot more throttle response and power off the line and a huge improvement in any RPM range. Gonna change the spark plugs this weekend and its gonna be a pain compared to the old benz we own.

So I thought my thermostat was fucking with me because it normally pop's right up to half way mark instead of slowly. Well I get on 81 and am driving and it will shoot up and then shoot back to the mid mark within a few seconds so i'm like I guess I really need to get a new thermostat. I get on 64 and about 8 miles from Charlottesville my car starts smoking so I get off an exit and get on a back road. Coolant got sprayed over my engine it was smoking and my car was pretty hot(Didn't get to the danger danger zone but got wayyyyy to hot.) I guess cause the age of the hoses and the cold my car wasn't used to cause it sits in a garage at home caused the hose to finally give in. The plastic were it goes over to the radiator was cracked and the hose wasn't staying on(the T-clamp wasn't really tightening it down.)

I call my dad and an hour later he shows up with new t-clamps. We move the t-clamp up the hose some to it actually is a tight fit and added coolant. Drove it home and the temp guage was normal temp the whole way home. I will be ordering a new radiator and new hoses to make sure this doesn't happen again(and a new thermostat.) I had never broken down before so I was pretty scared, especially because I thought the engine was going to be toast.

Me and my friend that I was giving a ride home just sat in the car and watched a movie so at least it wasn't boring as hell. Could have been worse I guess for us, and the engine.

TL;DR: Hose was barely on because it was old and because of how cold it has been. Car got really hot and coolant sprayed over the engine leaving me stranded for a little over an hour.
