I'm the opposite way. I thought I would hate the whites but they really break it up. They can be turned in at any time but for now I am going to leave them out.

Well we got the decals done. I took the shop that Scotty did down to Fine Line, Inc. just up the road from us here. 2 hours and $175 later I went back and picked it up.

They were even able to reproduce the "Wrangler" in flat black. I sent them a photo of the side of a silver wrangler and they vectorized it. Turned out prefect.

I don't think I posted it...so here is my fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

I sorta like the small stars. It has that classic renegade look without the "HEY LOOK AT ME I HAVE A HUGE STAR ON MY DOOR"

Well, we were going to do 8in which would be more like what I landed on in the pics. Scotty had them more like 10-11in but I downsized it in MS paint before I took it to them the first time. I had it scaled about 8 but then decided that might be a bit large and took it down to 7in. The hood star I think should have been more like 8 or 9. I have had a few people tell me "looks good, but the hood star could be bigger." I dunno, I think it looks good. He told me $15 for the hood or $25 to do all 3 larger. I said just toss these on for now.

Thanks guise! I just hope my freakin' lift gets here before I turn 50.

YAY LIFT KIT. I am excited to finally get this damn thing on here. Zach is hopefully going to be able to come down sometime Thursday afternoon and help me get it all installed.

I also installed a set of Hella 500 lamps on the front bumper and I got my CB installed. I went with a mount off of the rear stop lamp mount. I didn't want to do any drilling on the bumpers.

I do have one question for my MM friends though. Note the poll at the top. The bumper I have is designed for a Hawse type fairlead and I assume a synthetic rope by extension of the logic. I have a synth rope on my Warn M8000 but It is getting screwed up because I am using a roller fairlead and the rope is hitting the bumper, see the illustration below.

So, my question is one of aesthetics more then anything else. I like the look of a Roller fairlead. I think it is tough and classic. But the Hawse style is more popular and modern now. The question really is, do I cut my bumper to make room for the line to clear and work with the rollers or do I install a Hawse?

This is my roller. I would have to cut the steel behind it to make a large opening so the rope its the roller before the steel. Only problem here is if the Jeep gets sold without the winch the hole is larger and probably sorta ugly.

Hawse looks like this, they come in a million styles but I think I would just get a black one.

Hawse...you just got through saying you didnt want to drill into the rear bumper, so why would you want to CUT the front bumper? Plus looks like the fairlead is only like $50, no brainer IMO.

The more I look at it I might raise the winch up a bit with some spacers That might give the line a straight shot and fix the problem.

I love it but I think you're trying to put too much shit on it now. Or maybe I just don't get the offroad stuff. That car as it sits right now with a few inch lift and a few extra inches in track width is money.

If its supposed to show off some of the mopar parts, then you've already gone too far. It looks cluttered.

The part he mentioned is what should be there in the first place, the rollers are recommended to be used for a cable, where a Hawse style is recommended for synthetic winch lines, correct me if im wrong. He is just trying to do it correctly so its functional and doesnt eat up the winch line. After this round of installs and the lift id leave it alone, aside from maybe some type of roof rack.
