yep.
neighbor of mine growing up had one they left under a tarp (they moved in ~'90)... never drove it. i guess they were collecting it, but leaving it outdoors? under a tarp? i haven't been back to the neighborhood in a year or so, but last i knew, it was still sitting in the same spot. :dunno:

Wikipedia sez the Daina coupe was a '50-'58 model. Seems like the manufacturer made a handful of little sports cars/coupes here and there, that could be a not-out-of-the-question price for the wine and cheese snobs at Amelia or Pebble Beach...

Swapped 6's don't give me an eargasm like ----> this does
Don't be too upset though, that same guy has a few more in his collection that he can and does "run hard."
/fan boi rant
I dont get the point of the R, its not hard enough for a real track car, and a Terminator Cobra is way faster. Even magazines reported on how pissed off Mustang Cobra R owners were when one year later Ford came out with a way faster Cobra for $20K less.
Its just like the M3 LTW, yeah special edition, had a few "track items" but nowhere near hard enough for even an HPDE warrior, wasnt that much faster, and then a coupler years later a way faster M3 is out. When terminator cobras are in the 10-20k region now, why the fuck would you give a shit about an R? Hell at this point the '11 mustang is 3 times cheaper than it, is WAYYYY better on track, and sounds glorious as well.
