Most of you know the specs on the car... But it's time for it to go.. If anyone in MM is actually interested in the car PM me and we can work out a special MM price.. Otherwise $50 to any MMer that finds me a buyer...

30v V6 with Tiptronic
2 Remote Keys
Leather Interior
Heated/Power Seats
Monsoon Sound System

Power everything
Sunroof
Power/Folding/Heated Mirrors
134,xxx miles as it is my daily driver.

Second owner. Parents purchased this car new from the Brown's VW in Richmond, VA and was garaged kept all its life except for the past year when I was in College.
It had 114k on the clock when I got it and I would say 75% of that was highway mileage from my step mother driving to DC on 95.

Clean and Clear Title.

In the past year of ownership I have replaced the following:

Valve Cover Gaskets
Serpentine Belt
Crankcase Hose
Sparkplugs
Cabin Air Filter
OEM Fuel Filter
Alternator
Control Arms (Meyle HD)
Tie Rod Ends (Meyle HD)
Inner Tie Rods
Pads and Rotors (Meyle + PBR Deluxe)
4 new Tires.( THey are different brands due to randomly driving over nails and having to replace the rears.)
The Ones in the back are Falken Ziex 912's and the fronts are the brand new OEM Eagles. All four have less than 10k miles on them.

During my parents ownership the car has ALWAYS been dealer serviced including:

Timing Belt @ 100k
Thermostat
Water Pump
Tensionor
Both Catalytic Converters
Rear Rotors
Oil Changes
Interior Trim Pieces

I have ALL paper work for Dealer Services as well as parts I have bought and installed. Also have a printout of the entire service history @ Browns VW in Richmond.

Oil has been changed every 3,000 miles using Castrol GTX High Mileage and OEM Bosch/Mann Filters.

Exterior is expected for an 8 year car. Couple little dings and blemishes but hardly anything noticeable.
Interior is in decent shape. Wood is not cracked, the front seats have a some scratches but they're not destroyed. Little peeling on the door handle trim but
back seats are mint and the rest of the interior is in great shape. No dash cracks. I'd give it a 8/10.

McHulloch 5000k HID kit is installed in the headlights. Audi factory color of 5k is bright white. Dramatically improves vision at night.
During the VW Votex sale I bought a Genunie Votex Wagon spoiler which I had color matched and installed on the car. Really offsets the car.

Car was involved in a low speed fender bender in late August.I had Premeire Autobody in Harrisonburg, VA replace everthing back to spec.

I'm selling the vehicle due to financial reasons in college.

I'm asking $5400 OBO and am willing to negotiate.

Located in Harrisonburg, VA

I can be reached at 804-397-0678. If I don't answer leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible

Interior pics later today..

^ Oh I will... Not sure yet.. Finances have been tough the past 6 months.. might be better to grab something old and cheap( old truck) and just sit on some dough for a little while.. at least until spring.

QFT. You only live once. Make a financially irresponsible decision! Plus, cost of owning and registering an old truck will suck some money from your account as it is.

^ Eh... I had my truck and in the four years I owned it the most money I ever spent on "fixing" it was buying 4 brand new all terrain tires.. Come on when a brand new water pump cost $40 and an reman cost $16... I dunno.. Right now my main concern is getting the car sold.. Guy I talked to is going to come back tomorrow and pay me cash for the price we agree on.. He has 24hrs to take it to his mechanic and ok it then I'll overnight him the title. If not I give him his cash back.. Guy was really nice and really wants to buy the car..

I'm not talking maintenance cost, but cost to title/register/tag. That was an additional $125 on the E30 and tax was almost nothing because I paid almost nothing. That's $125 that I didn't invest "in" the car but had to spend regardless. If I sold it for a different E30, I may break even on the two cars but would lose the registration money between the two, regardless.

Just food for thought. Hope you sell it to this guy - where/how far is he taking 'your' car?

The cost to title resister tag is negligible to me.. But if I pay $3000 tops for a truck and get to keep $3400( I have some money coming my way my mom owes me for cash for clunkering my truck) I can sleep soundly at night knowing I have $3400 in the bank for when SHTF.. I'm not expecting it too but It's nice to know I have that in the bank as opposed to planning on spending $5000+ for a good condition leggy and having only $1000 tops in the bank and the next week the head gasket blowing on it..(the 2.5's are notorious for this if not taken care of).. That's my quick financial math for the day. Plus $3400 is more than enough to spend on a "play/beater" car..

You kids throwing around cash for cars in college! I took out a note on my first Subaru, my payments were like $235/month, I always had money in the bank because I worked when everyone else went on spring breaks, etc. AND I built my credit for when I graduated. It's the only reason I had the credit that was good enough to buy a house when I did. My brother at JMU is doing the same thing, he just bought an 07 IS250. It's definitely worth it to go that route imo..I'm all for not having any debt but when you have 0-little credit history and you're in college it is a smart move to finance something newer that's not going to all of a sudden blow a headgasket or something similar.

Lolwut? If you pay more than $2500 for a good condition Legacy Wagon that is in the "head gasket danger" age range, I'll seriously beat you senseless.

Jesus I paid 6 for my WRX, why would you pay five for the Official West Virginia State Car?
