For example, where is the Challenger now?
Look, Jeff won't tell you guys because he's too nice but FORGET THE CHALLENGER.
It does not belong to him. It is his Dad's and Grandfather's, and he'd be a moron to put a dime's worth of his time into it because it could be sold out from underneath him at any minute.
Is that clear? When Jeff takes over the Challenger as a project, I've no doubt he'll let you donkeys know, but in the meantime how about we all forget it exists and encourage Jeff to finish the Daytona and get whatever he feels necessary from the Van.
i agree rex, but damnit jeff, quit with the van and finish this damn daytona. you've had that project as long as i've known you.

Here are a few shots I took today of the work that has been done so far. Sylvia has been hard at work with a razor blade scraping off all the old loose paint to get it ready for prep.
Here are the hoodpins and scoop as they are now...
Here is the only real major body damage.
I'll keep posting pictures and such as it comes along!

I actually think it will look decent in that color. Its not a bad color, its just not exciting. Just a steel gray. I'm thinking I might spray the grill, mirrors, and wheels with a shiny black and clear them. The shiny black on the steel gray might look sick. I'm thinking I'm gonna have the gray customized just a bit, I'm gonna have it tinted darker and have a little extra flake added to make it pop more.

I have obviously been out of the loop and a simple bystander for too long. I donÔÇÖt ever recall saying it would look like a giant pumpkin. I always said I liked the idea because it would go with the grey interior as it will (one day, maybe) on the Daytona. It would be a giant pumpkin if it was flat orange. Secondly this is Jeff (and I) and when have we ever said no weÔÇÖll keep it conservative, simple, or general color? Sweety, itÔÇÖs a turbo van that idea went out the window a long time ago. IÔÇÖm with the rest of you I want the Daytona finished more than anyone, but due to school IÔÇÖm taking a risk in giving up time just by writing this post. So unfortunately for me making time isnÔÇÖt very easy right now. It will happen one day.
