$25k 300hp RWD coupe

I wouldnt buy a C5 because I hate the fisher price/chevy trailblazer interior. Asking if I would buy this car over that, with no real pictures (interior or otherwise) is pissing into the wind.

From a pure performance standpoint I could go out and buy a brand new ZX-10 or GSXR 1000 - I could walk to the dealership today and bring one home, but whats the point? Just because its the fastest thing in a straight line doesnt mean that everyone should want one over all other options, even if they are at a lesser cost.

You're fucking delusional. The shit for brains tech editor of SCC might think that way, but real "enthusiasts" have to think about more than outright performance. Unless they're filthy rich. You're not. We're not. We've got to face practicality issues. Some of us are either in the NEW car market, or the USED car market. They are mutually exclusive for a lot of us. Further, no matter what market I'm in, I'm not thinking about buying an FD.

In MY OPINION you need to get out from behind your internet keyboard guns, stop with your brand supremacy, and get a fucking clue. But you can't refute it because it's my opinion.

BTW, if this IS about outright performance, it's only fair to toss in motorcycles.

ok - so [ninja edit]5[/ninja edit] pages of debating about a car that hasn't even, nor being close to hit the market...fantastic

with it being a RWD coupe and pushing close to 300 hp and being near $25k i'll definitely give it a look since i'll be in the market by the time it comes out. when it debuts, this thing will either kick-ass or suck donkey balls, and on 'paper' it not looking like the latter.

I'm still calling it until the numbers come out. The only thing I've seen "enthusiast" and "fanboy" so far are numbers ranging from 200ish hp to 300hp with everything from a 2.0T to a V8 in it

I bet it will be a marginal step up in power from the current Hyundai. I hope I get proved wrong, because it would be pretty cool to have another 300hp coupe on the market... it won't make me want to buy one, but it will still be cool =P

Turns out the RWD coupe and the Tiburon are two different cars. Looks pretty sharp, I see some Ferrari influence in there.
