the end has come, i no longer have a life......i must say, huge improvement over the 1st as far as upgrades are concerned, Game play i have to get used to again cause i have been used to arcade style and not Sim, but im getting back in the groove.

you get liek the cover car for free i think, but i didnt, i had to pay 10k for my silivia, and just finished the asian open and won a trueno.

wish i could play more, but i feel like shit...

i'd highly recommend a wheel... i've just been pounding on a civic hatch. had it up to like 650hp and what do you know? it drove like a 650hp civic... just as fast around a track as a 200hp one Tongue

Look at the Top 10 times of the VW race! OHHH YEAHHHHHH! I could easily drop another 3 seconds off of that based on a single lap I did w/ the race diff added, but who cares? 5th or 10th? It's all bling!

For those without the game, I have the 10th place score on a race... Mk2 Golf w/ an R32 drivetrain pumping like 650hp Tongue

i thought i completely screwed myself there for a little while, i wasnt going to be able to race a couple races because i sold off some of the cars i won so i could squeak by and buy some mods for my Lancia, but i recovered.....i think its gay how they only give you 100 pts for a car you won.

How does the XBOX 360 wheel compare to the logitech Driver FX wheel?

Current garage:

Charger SRT8 642hp
69 Nissan Z RB26 swap AWD
Civic Hatch for the 250hp and lower races
then a bunch of gay free cars

why in the hell would you sell off cars you won? at 100/ea, you could run a like the first race and pay for 20 of them!

wheels... apparently 50% of the microsoft ones are broken out of the box. there is a site listing lot numbers... mine was broken... the wheel was titled at 15 degrees to go straight.

anyway, reviews:

what i like more about the ms:
looks
pedals
shifter

what i like more about the logitech:
price
mount
size
no vertical movement of wheel (ms has a little play)

as far as driving goes, they are pretty much equal. i think when i return the MS i'm just going to get my money back.

Sold the GTI for an E46 M3. I think I'll be keeping around most of the cars I get now though, I hadn't played a game like this in a while but it looks like you want to keep cars around for spec and special racing.

yeah, unless you really hate a car, keep it around. i've only sold the vis integra and some riced out mk3 supra.

i'm actually at a high enough level that i get asian cars at -40% cost so i just sold an mr2 for 400 more than i bought it for. sure, it wasn't a lot of profit, but i was just testing the waters. i imagine i'll start making money on supras and other sought-after cars.

I haven't even made any high horsepower cars so far. I have a shit ton of money banked, but I've been raping every horsepower class with my 300hp lightly built, gutted VIS 'Teg :lol:

I was beating the 300hp invitational opponents by 7-8 seconds, and I just jumped back to to try the "free breathing challenge" with some pretty powerful cars. Still whooping on them too =P Not bad for a little ricer Honduh! I haven't even strapped a turbo or done many of the NA mods yet, so this thing should keep me going for a little while at least.
