Scott Wrote:I might have a thing for old cars:
My TR6 (the good one):

I also have in my storage area that my dad and I rent:
67 Triumph GT6
75 Triumph TR6
63 Thriumph TR3
66 Buick Riviera
I paid $500 totally for all these at a junkyard that was going out of business, and the cars are not in that bad of shape, just no time to work on them

My dad also has a couple old Austin Healy's, as well as a Volvo that was originally used on an old TV show

If you want to get rid of either gt6 or tr6 let me know. Also let me know if you need any help with either one. I would love a triumph tr6 but I dont know anything about them.

Well it would be cool to have a small carbeurated sports car to enjoy every now and then. Let me know. Also how reliable are they? Are they hard to work on? What about parts?

They are very simple to work on, parts are easy to find through many different venders, and actually, once they are "right", they are very reliable. In 6 years my TR6 has only let me down once, which was a bad alternator, and I do 6k+ miles a year in it. The key is to drive it often. My car gets rather moody if it is not driven, or at least started once in a while, it hates to sit

That would be an P1800 in The Saint, starring Roger Moore.

You are correct, the car we have was in the show, but it was also Roger Moore's personal car during filming.

No, you have a problem. Get off me bitch. Read the thread title, if you don't like these cars or others from the era, don't post hate. It could be argued that it is not very motorsports...for sure, but thats why it is in the louge.

Its not that its an old car Jeff, its that you already have so many piles already. And maybe you should finish a project before you spend 8000 dollars on a car.
