Wow that seems like a really good deal for k series + cage. K series swap alone has to be over half his asking price.

That's what I was thinking. I'd be surprised if that thing lasts a week, that's a HELL of a deal. I've seen type R's alone go for that price with low mileage (I don't think he says how many miles).

well its certainly got an ass-ton of track miles on it, but there probably isn't a better taken care of track car anywhere either.

GKs ITR was "one of the first" to get the swap done many years ago. He waited until the mounts and stuff were sorted out and then pulled the trigger (it cost him $10k to buy the swap and get it installed years ago). The K motor was installed at JE Import Performance in Bmore and they also did the first cage set up. After he rolled through tech I had him change some things (its been so long i dont remember what) on the cage and it looks like he went to piper for that.

GK always said it was faster then he could drive it. He babied the crap out of this car. If i had the money it would be in my garage right now

He might wiggle for an MMer on that price.

K-swaps aren't rocket science...

The only thing is that you wouldn't be driving that car on the street, and would need to trailer it around so that's an added expense. RJ you buy it, and I'll tow it as long as you let me drive it as well

5spd, 270whp, sits just right (maybe a touch low for DD)...selling because too long commute, damn it...I know a thing or two about that. I'm guessing he's well under 20MPG. I guess i could sell the big turbo and put stock back on. This color with navin's orange wheels, a little Gulf Subaru theme :wink:
