Has anyone watched People of Earth? It's pretty cheesy, but oddly entertaining. The same with The Detour.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
Haven't seen either but we've been watching The Mick. It feels like it's basically just a spinoff for Dee's character from Always Sunny but I'm ok with it.

I couldn't get into Sunny... but I started like 6 years late and I wasn't high when I watched it.

Wife and I also just finished A Series of Unfortunate Events (the books were a childhood thing for our generation). The show is extremely well done cinema wise and is actually pretty funny.

Yes! I think it is excellently well done. NPH as Olaf is spot on and I very much have enjoyed the narrator as a character. Still gotta watch the last two episodes.
The Maserati special on the grand tour is the top gear/grand tour that I've been missing and that I am completely 100% here for. Freaking loved it. I'll probably watch it again early next week. Fantastic.

The final episode of the season was fantastic. Will also save this one to rewatch later again. Awesome stuff.

First two sucked but everyone on here gives me hope. I still want to watch all of them even if they suck to appreciate when it gets good again but its hard to choose grand tour with so many other things on my list to watch with how bad the first two episodes have been. (actually stopped paying attention and went into the kitchen halfway through) but have you ever watched early top gear? Like the first season after May was added. Holy balls, it's painful to watch.

That's my problem Matt. So many other good shows I am watching. I don't want to give up my time to the Grand tour to halfway through just turn it off.

i also bailed on Grand Tour after the second episode. it just hurt to watch.
ended up going back on a whim and checking out the Namibia episode (ep7 and 8 ). it felt like the show was cured. just a quality combo of the boys being a bunch of horses asses on a big amazing trip in ridiculous cars, and lots of their predictable trademarked comedy tropes as always. a great watch and some good laughs. the directing/writing seems like they found their stride again.
working my way through ep3, 4, and they're getting better. if the opening season only has a couple bad ones i think season 2 will be awesome.

So Emily tells me Netflix has a new original with great reviews, Santa Clarita Diet with Drew Barrymore. I don't know anything about it and agree to watch the first episode. Holy shit what a terrible pilot. Please spare yourself the 30 minutes.
