well that was completely awesome, totally worth the drive. great meeting you new students (and parents) and catching up with the alumni, it's been a while. i was really impressed with the turnout. Justin, Shea, and Matt represented team Porkchop Sammiches with some great lap times. Justin, thanks for driving with us considering the news and my condolences to your friend's dad. the karts were driving really nice and hooked up better every session. by the later sessions just about everyone was consistently turning some fast times, great work guys and gals.
MM'ers descend upon the track
off they go!!
i had a blast battling it out one session with someone (maybe Jake or Samuel? can't remember the kart number) that involved a little extended contact and bump drafting. we were playing tag over the course of a few laps and at one point i made a hasty pass on the inside of the pit-out hairpin and cut across the front of the other kart - got nicely punted sideways. so, sorry i cut you off there  but a great battle. Samuel and G had a tremendous bout for a few laps starting with Samuel banzaii'ing a corner and G coming back with vengence (video to come). i am sore as hell in my lats (i guess from hanging onto the steering wheel for my life?) and back but i'll suffer proudly.
1st: First Place
2nd: Porkchop Sammiches (1 lap down)
3rd: Stratus Fear (2 laps down)
best lap was put up by someone in Stratus Fear at a 26.856
i tried to take pictures of everyone, but due to my POS old camera they will be presented to you in blur-o-vision from the only vantage point that my flash could light up. you can see everyone here:

great job current officers putting this together and although i couldn't be at the pre-race or post-race festivities i'm sure there were shenanigans aplenty. now i'm going to pass out.
