ATTN: MM BMWM3's noticed a little trouble with registration on the motorsportsreg site. If your car is in STU then it's already in a street tire class so don't select "Tire" as a Pax option. That "Tire" option is for Stock, Prepared, and Modified classes. Not sure if you're able to edit your registrations but if you are please do. If not, do it during registration or tech the day of the autocross.

With the higher attendance there's a few registration oopsies, I'm still trying to figure out how a Scion TC and Audi A4 are in STS. These things wouldn't normally be a huge deal but since we're scoring this thing by pax scores classing of each car becomes that much more important.

Hrmm. I guess depending on mods, but shouldn't they be regular ST? I thought STS was two-door, two-seat.

I have a feeling Ray and friends may be busy on Sunday AM tweaking some things...

Jake, I was asked a question and I don't know the answer. Are autocross passengers required to wear closed toed shoes?? I can't imagine that they even attempt to enforce anything like that at an AX since people just run up and jump in cars, but somebody asked me lol.

I'm not sure of official policy, but let's say yes, they are. I'd hate to have someone turned away because of something so simple.

Quick FYI here:
The free air pump at the Shell station in the Food Lion parkinglot in Verona is gone, so air up before you get to the autocross or bring quarters. I remembered running into a few members there before, thought I'd throw that out there and save some folks that "Sonofabitch!" moment.

Another FYI...

I'm coming but not driving so if anyone needs anything...

I will bring my autoX necessities, my air tank, a cooler, some tools, chalk, painters tape, etc. Anyone need a jack, I can throw that in there as well.

What a weekend!!

I'm exhausted but wanted to post this before I pass out. It was difficult to come up with a fair way to score each school on a level playing field, since some were represented by only one or two people.

So, with this being the first big attempt at such an event (since I've been around, at least), we are posting results sorted purely by PAX time. Pretty nice mix of color in the list which is good to see.

Check it out here: http://www.mmsports.org/invitational-results/

Big big thanks to Ray and the other BRR staff for helping coordinate today and make things happen. The turnout was fantastic and I think everyone had a great time. Future officers, you have a project... make this happen again - I'll definitely be back as an MM alum in the future.

Sad Damn my SM PAX. grr, at least it was a good time. Where did you get the times from? Id like to see how I did RAW in what class I should have been.

Edit: Rear seat is going in next time so I can have some fun in STU.

Oh and some good ole clear air under that front tire , kinda scary to see how my dunlop tire is a 255 square on a 9 but is rolling over that much!!! Wonder how far I could get it in the air with slicks Confusedhock:
