I agree on no Matte. If you complained about white wheels you'll pull your eyes out with Matte vinyl.

Blue Raspberry looks like an interesting color as well. Can't find any pictures of it on anything after a quick google search because of how new it is.

Green + Mud looks pretty awesome too and leaves you $$$ for repairs or other mods.

true story though.
weren't you after some UEL headers and a catback or did that happen? you could pick up a header and get an exhaust fabbed for that moolah.

Up close the paint isn't as pretty as it looks in pictures lol. And I got an exhaust. Just no UEL headers. Don't really need them since I have a good rumble already.

I don't want to get all pedantic on you because you probably don't wanna hear it.
But my "garage queen" car's paint is actively falling off of the front bumper, the hood, roof and mirrors all used to be missing patches of clear so I had to wipe some on with a brush and it looks terrible. The rear bumper cover is scuffed from being rear ended, every single panel has dings and dents, the hood has fine clearcoat scratches in it, and there's a massive, noticeable touch-up job on the front left fender where my fat ass college roommate slammed into it on his bicycle. Point being, I have a full time job, my project car looks like all hell, and getting it painted or wrapped or whatever is at the dead bottom of my list.
I would seriously recommend getting yourself a nice $20 touch up kit, and if you really want to shine it up find someone with a buffer/DA to borrow so you can give it a good cut & polish. Save your big money to do big things. But that's just me. :dunno:

I understand, it's more of me wanting to change the color. It's not set in stone and I'm not going to be doing it in the near future. I want to get all my ducks in a row before I pull the trigger on this. Also Going to be looking for some 17 or 18in wheels down the road along with "possibly" and I mean possibly looking to supercharge it. That's way down the road though.
Now! Start dropping cheap wheel suggestions! Cheap I mean under $350-400 range. Preferably 17s so there's no clearance issues and I don't want to roll my fenders that much.

only 1 MY of the US STi fits....2004. after that they went to a better hub with 5x114.3 bolt circle.
because only 1 year of STi wheels fits every year of all other subarus...they are $$$$ (they're actually very well made, light and strong BBSs)

Yeah you can't find a set under $900-1000. I could buy adapters but those scare me lol

You can find v7 STI wheels with tires for $800 on some of those jdm import sites. There's a place located in Richmond who has a shitload if them. I love the 7 spoke v7s.
300-400 rage please lol

With that price range I'd just crawl the subaru classifieds and see what pops up that you can afford. If you try to buy new ones they're gonna be super cheap knockoffs like Sport Editions or MSWs or something.

It always amazes me how little niche car groups will drive up the price of a certain factory or rare/out-of-production aftermarket part.
My favorite example was when I swapped the seats in my car. BMW people in general nerd out about the Vader seats, they were pretty wild looking, very 90s, but most people who have actually owned an E36 M3 will tell you they're not very good at actually being seats. The bolsters are set up for a guy with a 48" waist, the lumbar support instantly disintegrates, and unless you got lucky and the original owner conditioned the seats once a week, the leather has almost certainly gone to shit. Also the headrest everyone loves is no where near your actual head.
However, because they are wild looking, every brosarus building the next turbo '93 325is that's going to "literally break the E36 game" wants to put them in their car. Not to mention all the people that swap them into E30s. And they all want black. As such a set of absolutely mint black vaders can go for as much as $1200 depending on condition and options, but a set of gray ones might only get $4-500 no matter how perfect they are.
I bought a set of clean E46 M seats with heat, power lumbar/bolster adjustment and a headrest that will actually keep my neck from snapping for $500, and turned around and sold my absolutely beat to shit vaders for $400. The dude was pumped too, he was planning on having them reupholstered.... to install in his slammed E30 'vert.

ALRIGHTYYYYY I found some wheels.
OPTION A
First are take offs of a 2011 Wrx hatch. They come with stock tires with half life left. These are pictured on an 06/07 Wrx below.
17x8 with+53 offset
OPTION B
Next ones are Rota tarmac2 wheels. Only problem is they are spray painted black and have decent tires I guess.
Again the picture below is just a stock image. Not if the actual one. 17x7 unknown offset
Please vote what you would think would look best. I personally like the oem Wrx wheels.
