$235 for a 16x7, uses stock center caps. Looks like they only come in Black though. But they are cheap enough that I would respray them.

I would go with a brushed silver type color. This brushed silver anodized finish that CCW does has been eye catching to me lately. The face color, not the lip obviously. You already have black, why add another set? The anthracite is a coo look to, but the brushed silver is cleaner in my opinion.

Stretched tires like that make me feel queasy.

Steve those Metegi's look great, but they dont come in 16s, so Id have to go 17/18 and they dont make 18s in 4x100.....

Been looking at wheels a lot too and seeing that a lot of mfrs like to leave out exactly the right mix of size/bolt pattern/offset for no apparent good reason.

still leaning towards lotus sport wheels.....

thoughts on color?

This thread making me feel all kinds of ways.

have some interior work that I did last summer and forgot to post.

First up was addressing the plastic interior peices. Center console and HVAC control surround were this gross gray plastic that needed to be changed.
This is the stock center console and hvac surround (not my car)

It really sticks out like a sore thumb when youre in the car.

A few companies make carbon fiber replacements, but personally Im not a fan of CF in the interior (maybe its all the cheesy fake carbon trim from all the early to mid 2000's sport-ish cars that jaded me) so I found a leathershop of repute in the area and brought the peices in for him to cover.

here is the result




Its hard to tell from the pics, but the fat part of the console is alcantara, and the rest is leather to match the seats. The thread is silver to match the aluminum in the cockpit, but frankly you cant tell the difference between it and white.
Also added is the e-brake boot. which unfortunately didnt come with these cars, but lotus makes the boot (and for typical lotus prices too, I dont want to tell you how much I paid for an ebrake boot)

Other interior upgrades were sound system (see kenwood in above pic) and JL 5 1/4 speakers (upgraded from stock 4" speakers)

The speakers needed an adapter to get the bigger size in (which i need to glue down), and the rings on the grill were silver which created reflection glare in the windshield, so I had to spray them with plasti dip, then peel it off the grill part. MAJOR PITA.


Last interior touch was the carpet buttons. Originally they were the same gray plastic as the center console, but I found some CNCed aluminum buttons for pretty cheap. I asked them not to anodize clear so they would have a similar sheen to the rest of the aluminum interior

I don't frequent cars, no. My truck doesn't have them there, nor do any of my family's trucks. I thought door panels were as far forward as they were.

yes, unfortunately. You don't notice them because they are integrated with the dash (unlike this car)
Horrible place to put speakers acoustically speaking.
