Okay... how about I change my answer to a kit Cobra? Guess that wouldn't pass the 4 figures or less requirement.

if you don't like wrenching on a car (aka building it in your garage) i can't see how you'd put one together for nearly as cheap as a nicely taken care of little sports car that you were interested in in the first place.

i think those triumphs are pretty cool little things. sunbeam tigers are hot too, lots of room for big V8's.

a coworker here is selling his sunbeam alpine in fully restored condition with rollbar. he's got it all maxwell smarted out too. the plate even says 86&99. it looks really sweet.
