I assume the "safety loop" is that bronze colored thing that the jackstand is on? What does it make more saferer?

Driveshaft safety loop is designed to catch the driveshaft should a U-joint fail, or something else fail that could cause the driveshaft to fall.

Yup
what are the advantages of moving the ECU, is it am engine bay heat issue?

No, it was located down in the passenger fender where the door hinges are. I moved it b/c to re-flash my chip I have to pull the ECU out every time, quite a PITA, now all I have to do is open the glove box and pull out the chip. Makes changing settings at the track much easier.

How many reflashes does that ECU have left in it? Are you running aftermarket engine management? I know the OEM Subaru ECU can be reflashed a total of 100 times before it's deteriorated to the point of un-reflash-uh-ability? LOL! You know what I'm saying.
Cobb Tuning was able to find a way around it, but I don't know if any Mustang tuners have, or if you even run into that problem.

I have a chip, I think they said it could be flashed around 1M times before it started to reject tunes
i dig... not too sure if the diags from the shock towers to the main hoop will do much, but we could debate that all day long. what're you doing in the doors?

I agree, to an extent, I was trying to add something to resist flex of the shock towers more than cage strength. To add something back to the cage I added some tubes from the harness bar mount on the main hoop straight down to the shock towers. That should add some more strength to the main hoop.
For the doors I'm doing 2 NASCAR door bars.

They do help quite a bit - I would also add a bar from each shock tower to the base of the main hoop on each side, like in my cage.
Can you punch through the firewall and tie into the front shock towers?

Maybe something like this, looks alot like the one you have designed but from an actual Roll cage website.

That's a drag cage - not enough triangulation, and the door bars are lacking.

I added bars from where the harness bar mounts to the shock towers (same idea as you, just going from another angle), going the other way isn't possible unless I cut out even more metal.
I can punch through the firewall, however at this time I am not. I can always do that in the future.
