Chrome '03 Cobras or GTFO (go with the 10.5" in the rear).
Bitch that weren't an option do you want to fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight? :evileye:
Bring it, ya Sally
BTW Chip, AFS sells 18" staggered sets of '03 Cobra wheels...that's where all the Terminator guys buy them.
I did.

I still don't know how I feel about how thick those spokes are on the wheel though. They look good, I'm just a little more of a fan of the thinner spokes on the wheels. Digging the chrome though. Either way, 5 spokes are the way to go. I thought about maybe getting some XXR 531's in chrome, but 5 spokes look better. I have a little while to decide, so sounds like I have some more serious thinking to do. Thanks for all your input so far guys!
Matt, between the two options (Cobra R's or Saleens; yes they are both safe/played out, but do look good) would you go with on the SN95 and why?

Man, they are just wheels. Go with what you like regardless of its "played out". You are the one who has to look at it every day.

BUT......gun to my head, I'd go with some Saleens.
The Saleens fit everything (Fox, SN95, New Edge), they have somewhat of a timeless look (they were OE from '94-'04), are easy to clean due to their thin spokes, Saleen reps can be bought pretty cheap (real magnesium Saleen Speedlines are cuhrayzee $), and when it comes time to sell them for something else I feel you'll have more people interested in them in comparison to some '95 Rs (New Edge guys aren't gonna want 'em).

I would LOVE some CCWs buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut the price tag is super killer. They look super awesome on those Termi cobras . Here are some pictures of the XXRs:

Obviously not my color car (believe it is laser red) but you get the idea. They would be a PITA to clean, but they do look nice. Right now, the Saleens are first, then Cobra R's, and then I guess XXR haha who knows (all in Chrome). I have some time to make a decision, so keep the opinions coming! Thanks guys.

I mean I'll post my opinion again, but go with what you like and can live with looking at everyday. You can always go wheel whore status and constantly change your wheels until you fall in love

I've just been mulling all these over for quite a while and wanted some more opinions. In the end, obviously it will be what I think looks right, but opinions are always great!

Saleen. They just look better. There I said it!
x2 to the Saleens. Never liked the 95 R's that much
Thank you everyone once again for your wheel opinions! Like I said, I still have a couple months to decide, so I'll take them all into cosideration .
It was also great to meet a bunch of you guys at the car show and autox this weekend! Even though I didn't have my car (read on for full info), I had a fantastic time. I believe I talked Matt's ear off about foxbodies and terminator cobras, but I sure did learn a lot (thanks man!).
Okay so onto where the issues began. For a couple months now, my car has been running strangely warm on the gauge on the dash. It was still within what Ford considered "normal" operating rage (again according to dash), but before it used to run in the lower ranges. I had my car checked out at the shop I trust, and they said everything was working perfectly, no issues. I figured the gauge must have gone bad after 20 years. Just to be sure, I had my dad take it by Performance Autosport to see the guys down there, and they looked it over and said nothing was wrong, the gauge was unreliable. So I continued to drive it as normal.
Fast forward to last week, and my header gasket on my drivers side went. I got that fixed, and decided not to do the other side at the same time because it seemed to be doing okay. She was ready for the drive to Harrisonburg!
I drove her up here on Friday. I thought she had a small exhaust leak under the car where we modified the midpipe to work with the longtubes, but I figured that is all it was and shouldn't have been a big issue. Well, I get to Harrisonburg, and she sounds like a tractor again. I figured one of the exhaust clamps had gone or something. Called my buddy Scott Stone (yeah the guy with the Camaro :lol and he said bring it on over we can take a quick look at it. Sure enough, my passenger side header gasket had gone too. My parents had the other gasket (as you had to buy two, the shop I had my drivers side gave us the other one) and were going to bring it up Saturday morning. So, I figured we could swap it at the show, not too much of a big deal. Couple hours later, I walk up to take my car back to campus, annnnnnnd lets just say there was a large pool of coolant under the car, redecorating the North 38 parking lot green . Scott and I quickly got me to visitor parking, because we knew the car couldn't run, and tried to call Sam Spicer to let us in the MM garage for the night. We ran/pushed it down there, and lo and behold, the thermostat bolt had let go. Or so I thought. We ran out and grabbed a new thermostat, gasket, some coolant, and ran to Home Depot to try to match the bolt that we did have to make it work. We got back to the garage, take a look, and that's when I realized that the bolt didn't just come out, it snapped in half inside the thermostat housing. And also, to my dismay, this was when I realized that the thermostat housing was part of the lower intake plenum.
We could have drilled the bolt out, but I figured if we messed it up, the car wouldn't run for a while, and it would be stuck up here in Harrisonburg. So we pushed the car up the hill to visitor parking, knowing we would have to call a tow truck in the morning.
I woke up Saturday before the car show and called 3 different shops, who all said they wouldn't mess with it. I walked down the the entrance of C4, set up a barrier for the show, and Taylor carted me to North 38 while I called a tow truck to take it to Harrisonburg Ford.
So, as of right now, it is sitting at Harrisonburg Ford, hopefully being fixed as I type this. They are reinstalling the thermostat and housing, and putting on the header gasket for me.
Eh, it is what it is  it got me here safe and that's what really matters. Had a great time this weekend though!

Ugh, snapped bolts are the WORST. DJ and I have a Spec3 friend who snapped a T-stat bolt off in the head of his E36. I snapped a few water pump studs in half on my ex's E46 330i, the list goes on...
At least you're getting her fixed up! Was fun chatting this weekend, too!

You people with Cobras need to stop being around me so much. After all of those fox bodies at the show, I want one even more.

You'd feel right at home with the rear suspension design

'93-'98 = stick axle
'99-'04 = IRS

'99-'04 = IRS Lol exactly. What can I say though, the solid axle puts the power down though.... Doesn't mean a Cobra IRS isn't an option down the road . At the autox Sunday, Matt Walker and I were discussing how the bumps over in the first section would be crazy to attempt at that speed with a live rear axle lol. I would lose some time there. But hey, she would sound good! I even got Scott to say she sounded good at WOT with the header gasket leak  .

Alright got the update on the car tonight. They said that they couldn't fit the Stage 8 bolts with the new gaskets (they are Mr. Gasket header gaskets #7410G- they are pretty darn thick). I told them to try again, as the shop I took it to for the other side got them on and I didn't hear about any issues. I don't want to put the factory bolts back on, because I don't want to have to re-tighten them after a few heat cycles, so apparently they got the locking bolts to work, but I'm worried about there being not enough thread to hold them onto the head. Any suggestions?
Oh, and also the thermostat housing that came out of the car had a crack. So they had to order another one. She is getting fixed slowly .
