March 21-23: NASA at VIR

OK, we need to figure out who's gonna be coming and eating food/drinking beer with us. We will probably grill on Saturday PM (right, DJ?) so the typical burgers/hot dogs are what I figure we'll do unless people want to bring their own stuff to grill.

Am I missing anyone? I don't mind helping feed current students as I know money is tight, but I can't afford to cover all of it. So, can y'all students plan on bringing a few bucks each to help cover drinks and food?

An FYI for the students, there are Grocery stores within 15 minutes of the track too. So you don't have to worry about bringing cold stuff from H-burg.

I might or I might not. I'm not sure yet. Still deciding. But, I will probably be leaving Sunday.

Also, with food Jake I'll have a non-MMer coming but I'll be throwing in some money for food/drinks.

Does it cost anything to get into the track?

Half the fun of the track is hanging out at night when everyone is bench racing and drinking. I'd recommend staying if you can. It should be free to get into the track but if you want to camp or you want electricity, it should cost you a little bit, I dont know how much though.

$0 to get in track, and sometimes they try to charge you for camping. I have never been charged, can't gaurantee that. Electricity is paid for always by me, although it would be nice if people chipped in, but I have a feeling that I am the one using it the most.

No, We seem to run through the "camper" gas things like it's crack. I'd like to pick up one of those bigger canisters and an adapter or whatever we need. Instead of being a 2-pack of camper gas cans everytime.

This is more than likely what you need. Unless you have been using an adapter to run the 1lb tanks and it is already setup for a 20lb.

Are all the students riding down together? I'm really hoping I don't have to drive, as that'd be a tank and a half easy for me. I'm bringing a tent and an air mattress. Should I buy a drop cord?
