I don't see a Bren Ten. First the gun, THEN the Ferrari, and I *will* be Sonny Crockett...

I know their tommy gun is, I've been there when people have rented it and the noise is quite something. The guys behind the counter say it's "$40 for 10 seconds of fun" or whatever.

I don't spend any time around guns / gun stores but this thing seems pretty ridiculous...

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...

It is ridiculous. And also illegal to own without a tax stamp as of yesterday.

So don't go to the gun store looking for your 28 Gauge Judge.

haha that's hilarious

BTW, I got to put my hands on a Keltec PF9, Taurus 709 slim, and Kahr PM9 at a Cabellas last week, and I think I give up on that idea. They're all really a bit too big for what I'm looking for. Keltec I'd seen before, nothing unexpected there, both the Taurus and Kahr looked really nice, though I liked the Taurus 3-dot sights better. I think you can get similar sights on the Kahr, so that might not be a big deal. They all felt about the same in my hands, they were JUST big enough to be semi-comfortable. Which makes them too big.

I might carry around a .22 for bit just to see if I can even find that tolerable. If so, Kahr makes a really nice 380 (P380 I think) that's even shorter (with slightly longer grip) than the Ruger LCP, so maybe I'd get one of those.

All this talk about little guns, I decided to buy a big one.

A really big one.

I wanted to buy a hunting handgun. And, well, my arsenal was really only missing a big bore wheelgun. So I had originally intended to buy a new Raging Bull M444, but I decided I'd cruise the local pawnshops first. That's when I found this. 9" Barrel, made in 1997, stock grips, didn't come with anything but a crappy leather holster. I looked it over, and I was like wellllll...

So I showed back up at the pawnshop with a bore scope, a rag, and a set of feeler gauges. I think the guy could feel my lowball offer coming, but we agreed on what I thought was a fair price. So now I need to clean it, maybe get some hogue grips for it and a scope & mount. Then next year, watch out, bambi!

It's the functional equivalent to a Smith and Wesson Model 29 (actually a little stronger), and should I ever find an M29 for the price I paid for this Ruger I will buy it immediately...
