if you're looking for a needle in a haystack you gotta go deep with all the searches, every morning. autotrader, cars.com, carmax, bmw CPO, car gurus, search tempest, forums, smoke signals.
if its a unicorn, do it every few hours.

I found mine on the forum F30 Post and it wasn't posted elsewhere but I don't think that's common with late model year stuff. A lot of "lease takeover" listings on the forums but probably worth scanning. Bimmerfest too I guess.

Plus, how hard is it to load up some pics not taken with a potato.
This frustrated me the most when searching for the F150.... I started eventually just ignoring those type of dealerships and focused on ones that seemed to have their shit together/care
I've seen some good examples, but they always seem to be missing one of the packages I want.
I'm starting with looking for an all boxes checked example in white.
Next step is to remove the Cold Weather package (heated steering wheel/rear seats). It's a nice to have, but the cars are garaged so it can go away.
If that fails miserably then ill throw in Blue/Black/Red.
I saw a red one yesterday, was priced well, all boxes checked, then got to the interior......fucking beige. Not Saddle Brown, not that almost white with black everything else. But 1995 Toyota Camry beige.....fuck you.
Really nice black example out there with the almost white seats, but dark jeans and/or kid will probably murder those seats.
Nothing turns me off a car quicker than beige interior. Followed somewhat by grey everything but I think I could live with that. But never beige. Never again.

I'm really surprised. When I bought my E91, there were 500 F31's for sale on autotrader alone.
Are you looking nationwide? If not, then open your miiiiiind. uship.com

Oh yeah, nationwide.
There are tons in my price/mileage range, but lighting package kills half of em. Then a handful have the Msport goodies (brakes/suspension/bumpers)
I'm also limiting myself to 15+ but may drop it down to 14. I'm still reading through timing chain guide threads trying to determine the actual date they revised everything.
I also see it as a crankwalk type situation, blown out of proportion by forums. Just read a thread, "bro it's def your timing chain, it skipped a tooth."
I don't think they understand that skipping a tooth does not allow your car to run fine/stumble/run fine again.
It was his coilpacks.

Shopping for an FR-S. '13s go for about $12-13k for ~70k miles, I could do $15k for a '14+ lower mile. Id rather have a good car than penny pinch for the most beat to shit one out there. Then again I will most certainly be beating it to shit, so maybe thats not as important if it comes pre-beat.
Colors are red, red, red, red, or white, maybe black or blue if its a great deal.
let me know if anyone sees anything in their car search travels

Wish I'd know this two weeks ago, my brother just sold his garage kept '13 with 21k miles to Carmax.

2019 Ford Mustang
Just the FR-S or also BRZ?
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

FR-S tends to trade for a little less $$ than the BRZ's

BRZ has a suspension more prone to push, a bumper design I dont like as much, and tends to be more expensive.
But I wouldnt rule it out if it was the right deal, especially if it was world rally blue.

you're leaving it stock? best of luck, the aftermarket would tempt me way too much. the BRZ's a better overall car from a content standpoint and will resale better as well.

A bit over your budget but basically brand new with a clean history. Everything I see under 15 has a major accident history or salvage title.

Content isnt important:

ugh.... thats what I was afraid of. So many of these in used-car lots that I have to wonder about the history
I thought this one had some potential. At least its private party

Sooooo, ive seen this front bumper vinyl on like 3 cars. Is this some sort of dealer installed option?
Remove graphic....and I want...but no cold weather package, and unknown dealership.

Just to add to the horrible list of things to check, you can occasionally find both overpriced and fairly priced unicorns on the BMWCCA classifieds. After 6 months of looking that’s where I found the M5.
And nah that’s not a dealer option as far as I know.
