Yeah when i was considering getting a GSR I didn't want to since so many people steal GSRs and I would die if someone did. hopefully my 300z stays unharmed and when I do stuff to it I want to protect it.

Not to be repetitive but I'm with everyone else as far as your desire to track it....if that's your goal for the car I wouldn't put a ton of power into it that's going to put you into a ridiculous class. If you are looking to turbo it to have a street monster and to have something unique, and you have the money to do it, then just do it. When the hell else are you going to be able to enjoy the fun while simultaneously painful process of building a turbo car from scratch than when you're young. You're eventually going to grow up and get married and even if you have a lot of money you're going to get bitched at by your wife and you'll likely have other responsibilities that won't allow you to needlessly cashburn.
I won't even post the amount of money I spent on my old car nor the amount I lost when I sold it to Travis but I wouldn't change a thing! I was proud I built something unique, one of the first of its kind in the world (definitely the first in the US). That car put a bigger smile on my face when it was running than anything I've ever owned.
So yeah, figure out your goals and then go for it

No after pics but so far, I am very pleased with the pads. I also flushed out the braking system completely with ATE Superblue. I am looking forward to beating on them and seeing how they do!

nothing wrong with front wheel drive. This car still holds the record for the fastest NA *EDIT FWD* car on the Tsukuba Circuit. Although in the honda tunning article the driver talked about how he was passing the Spoon s2000 in the hairpin turn on the outside...

What he said.....But if you wanna do it, prepare for it to never be a reliable DD again.

I know, I am currently shopping for a Miata to make into a track only car. We will see how that goes though, my lack of money really says "hey 2 cars is a terrible idea you fool!" I really would love to boost this car though, so many have done it that I can know exactly what is going to be a pain. I have been researching for almost a year now, but idk. I am still up in the air. All I know is be it ITR, Kswap, boost, or leave it alone, I am not going to sell this car. Far too much attachment to it.
In the mean time what do you guys think of these personalized plate ideers.....
I think I like ROLL PLZ the best since my car is garbage from a dig. Let me know, I think they are all pretty good.

if you have the money a kswap would be the best option over boosting an ls or atleast an ls/vtec setup would take boost nicely

What year/package are you wanting to get? Get something with a Torsen rear....

I am looking at a 90. I don't know much about it (I haven't been able to go look at it yet, BUT I am going over Thanksgiving break) but I have high hopes of picking it up for about $800 and restoring it.
It needs lots of work, but only has 40k mile on the clock.
