Just a heads up.....I have to leave after the post karting party. So if anyone was planning on crashing at my crib the night of karting may wanna make other plans. I have to dog sit for the parents and will need to go to Buckingham after the shenanigans.

Nope, girlfriend's birthday. And Ill be honest, she deserves it. Dated her 2 months and she has been to 3 entire track weekends, 2 autocrosses, a car show, was with me to dyno my car and did a karting enduro with me. Will be at 2 more autocrosses and one track weekend before her birthday (this event weekend). So yeah she deserves a break.

It's that time of year again... the one MM event you don't want to miss:



Yep, MM goes Karting at G-Force!!

Mark your calendars if you haven't already. The date is November 13, a Saturday. We will be karting from 11 AM to 1 PM. All drivers need to be at G-Force by 10:30 AM so we have ample time to get organized and run through the requisite safety briefing.

Cost is $30 for students (who have paid dues) and $40 for alumni. You can give us money at our meetings (cash or check) or you can PayPal. The PayPal address is <!-- e --><a href="mailto:madisonmotorsports@gmail.com">madisonmotorsports@gmail.com</a><!-- e -->.

Now, since we had so many flakes last time - ended up with some absurd number like 17 out of 40 actually show up to race (WTF?!) - we are making payments NON-REFUNDABLE. That means if you commit now, you put it on your calendar and don't back out at the last minute because your girlfriend's brother's wife's chihuahua's pet rabbit discovered a more pressing event on November 13th.

Or, you can indeed attend the other event and miss our day of greatness, but you won't get your $30 or $40 back. The cost to rent all of G-Force is massive for a club of our caliber, and it was incredibly difficult to make ends meet last semester with so many people backing out last-minute.

Sorry for being tough, but this is how it's gotta happen apparently.

SO! On to the signups. We are doing the typical 2 hour, 40 people enduro format. We'll start by offering 20 student spots and 20 alumni spots, and if we need to change ratios due to interest, we can/will.

You are not guaranteed a spot until you pay us, so keep that in mind!
