Now I need to find the time to sell it.. Usual routes, CL, Specific forums, Carmax? Anyone actually have decent experience with them? I feel carmax Jews you pretty bad on stuff..
Carmax gave us a fair deal on the Speed3.
It really depends on what type of car it is too. 5 years ago when we were checking 98 GSXs with 56k on dealer auctions they were trading for around 10.5k, I was at carmax for my friend and shits and giggles I got a quote....they offered me $2300 bucks. I was :evileye: Go to hell.
More maintstream vehicles I think they do much bette ron.

We got a fair deal on the cars we've sold to them. And to Mike's point, they were all cars that would likely stay on the lot. We tried to sell them a Taoauareg but they lowballed us saying they thought it was painted or something. This was when gas was uber $$$ and KBB had not caught up with the plummeting SUV values so I'm pretty sure they were just trying to come up with some BS. VW dealer gave us a fair deal though a few thousand over what Carmax had offered.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
hmmmm.... Might have over shot the 60k mile mark by 70k... hahah guess it'll be dealership or private sale.
BTW if anyone finds a 1997-99 Legacy GT wagon for sale post it up!
Your wagon is prime pickins for my shop to put on consignment, but its no way to guarantee a quick sale. My car sold in 2-3 weeks I think which was pretty fast. We had a 1996 911 Turbo for over a year before it went back home. We got a miata I thought would be gone in a week, had it all summer. We got a 2004 325Ci SSG tranny that I walked past on Monday morning and snorted "Pfffft, that'll sell" and by noon I was screwing tags onto it.
But its certainly an option. I sold my 2003 325i and ended up with $11,750 in my pocket, way over what people were getting straight private party last summer. I would either go for something like that, or sell the car yourself on eBay, Cars.com, autotrader/ CL etc.
Now: 07 Porsche Cayman S | 18 VW Tiguan
Then: 18 VW GTI Autobahn | 95 BMW M3 | 15 VW GTI SE | 12 Kia Optima SX | 2009 VW GTI | 00 BMW 540i Sport | 90 Mazda Miata | 94 Yamaha FZR600R | 1993 Suzuki GS500E | 2003 BMW 325i | 95 Saab 900S
Could be a good deal Joey.. I planned on being car less for at least a week or two anyways during school.. We should discuss further when school gets around..
