I'm having withdrawals....ever seen Beowulf? "Five days! NO WONDER MY LOINS ARE BURNING!" To much Jeep stuff going on to play! I expect to get some in tonight. I feel like I need to get two ranks tonight to look at myself in the mirror.

How does domination work? I pretty much only play Deathmatch and Hardcore Deathmatch. Rarely I play HC Sabotage.

How does domination work?

it's a team-play and you have 3 positions on the map. your job is to secure those three positions and defend while the other team tries to do the same

points are given based on time of each location held by your team (i haven't played this in a couple weeks, so someone please correct me if i'm wrong)

you are right. but you get experience from kills and from capturing flags, bonuses for defending flags and being an offensive player killing a defender. IF i win, i can get close to 3k experience for a match. If i dont... anywhere from 800 to 2200 or so. and 2200 is when you are kicking major ass and getting weapon bonuses to boot

Deathmatch makes for a SLOW climb up the ranks it seems. I get way more XP for sabotage it seems.

Domination is one of the better ways to level, if you don't mind pitching a tent outside your flag.

Or getting killed a lot trying to capture the flag. I'm doing a lot better on the K/D in Domination now that I'm WAY more methodical. I've been using DJ's suggestion of grenade attachment, RPG, C4, and Danger Close to just blow up anyone trying to capture my flag. Only downside is now I have to actually pay attention to air support (I normally don't because I always have Cold-Blooded on).

We should do a weekly MM meetup on Live for MW2. Tues-Thurs works best for me. Maybe 8-9:30 to give people time to eat?

I dunno if I'll use it akimbo or not, but it is pretty good in some of these maps. The range blows though. I can't even guard C on Favela while hiding in the mexican garden with it.
