No Justin, I don't get a gun. I'll be handling minor crimes, once I move up to felony probation or felony parole I'll get a gun. I won't be doing home visits so I won't ever really be in harms way much....that and most of my cases are possession of marijuana and DUI. I have an office at the regional jail in washington county and the community corrections building in smyth county.
