Blair do you have any H1 HID kits?
-Nick the kits i have are from factory cars. the dont use regular bulb numbers ( they are like D2S or D2R stuff like that. You have to retrofit the bulbs into the headlight housings. it sometimes can be a pain.. sometimes its easy

You can retrofit them into anything, with enough JB weld.

For 2 bulbs? One bulb is low beam, one is high.

Can't do HID for high beam. Response time isn't fast enough.

Response time? I ride with both bulbs on 99% of the time.

Hmm...Yes blair. Do you have a kit that could be made to work with a 2004 bulb? hehehe...

Nevermind then, carry on.
It's just typically low beams that are HID, because switching the light on and off, (as us four-wheeled beings are prone to do) affects the life of the ballast.

Ah ok. The bike has one bulb for low beam, and one bulb for high beam - the low stays on when you put the high bulb on.

Right, same way in many cars, so the low beam is on "all the time" and the highs are only on for the high. But, if both are on all the time I don't really see a reason not to do them both in HID.

heres how I make it work for h4's.. you take the stock H4 bulb and break the bulb off. You use the H4 metal on the base of the bulb and JB weld or apoxy the HID bulb onto the metal H4 base area. Then the HID's can be taken out easy and replaced. In Most cases people JB weld the HID bulb to the headlight housing. The you simple wire up a ground and power and find a place to mount the balast. I have a few kits. I sell them for 75-100 for everything. NOTE.. YOU WILL BLIND PEOPLE.. and with a car that uses a dual filiment buld for high-low beam you will loose highbeam- but with the HIDs you would never use highbeams anyways ( pretty much just a state inspection issue if you ever have to go through that?
