It's on GC sleeves and Konis. I raised the front today, but the rear is actually up as high as the GC's allow. It's on 450lb 5" 2.25ID springs that are way too weak (they actually bind on big bumps and have dented the trailing arms). I'm gonna call GC up tomorrow and order new hardware and the barrel-style springs, and probably camber plates.
Yeah, the car is red. The valve cover is a little off and kind of orangey - I'll probably repaint it since it's peeling anyway.

I love swapped e30s! great find.
Maybe installing a the 3.5" mass air flow sensor, injectors and chip upgrade would do something for the peppyness? Are you in Northern Virginia? -Peter Tyson

how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
10-25-2006, 08:49 AM
Yeah, the HFM/injectors/chip is in the plan, but way down at the bottom of the list - there's lots of other stuff I want to address first.
As for price, it was not an amazing deal, but it was a fair price. I couldn't have built a car identical to this for the price, and it saved me countless hours of gathering parts, doing research, and then performing the actual swap. So the turnkey car seemed like a good idea.

i thinking 8-10k range i would really like to know too.. thats a car i wouldnt mind owning someday. i know e30 m3's with e36 m motors for 11-14k range so im assuming the standard e30 would be cheaper.. but with those PIMP ass wheels.. who knows

BTW, based on what I'm reading, I wouldn't let Blair near it or he will leave it feeling dirty and violated, and a shell of what it once was. :-D
