That's all I did this break. I worked and even got some training in as a server to set myself up for when I go back next week.

The key to winning at working when you are in college is to work during the summer and breaks when everyone else is just getting wasted at home with their loser townie friends. I worked in real estate as a temp in college. When everyone else was going on spring breaks and to the beach I was working 50+ hours a week gaining experience and contacts that ultimately got me a good job in the industry when I graduated. I had plenty of beer money and paid for my old WRX / insurance while I was in school and I didn't have to work when school was in session. If you can dig up a white collar college job like that I highly recommend it. There's certainly nothing wrong with bartending or serving or delivering food to make ends meet but you're probably not doing yourself any favors to help you get a job after you graduate.

This is exactly what I'm trying to go after! I just gotta keep all my options open, my on campus job is pretty nice, unfortunately they're not holding the position for summer
