not near the level of the other wagons in this thread, but my buddy came across this 15 year old photo of his celica and my civic. I wish I still had it.

the bottle-caps legitimize the stripe.

 hock:
that might be the first one i've seen for sale with all the right boxes checked, man do i want it.
Frontal accident history for sure (unless the owner just happened to restore *only* the driver side headlight), old VW 8 banger, I mean what could go wrong?

More like 4Motion IN MY PANTS.
It's just a pair of 4 cylinder motors (VR6 tech, but with a 4) mated to a single crank. Sure, more cylinders more problems, but assuming you don't need anything that's unique to the configuration (cam stuff, I think) it shouldn't be all that expensive... And they still make the W8 so there's that.
Possible headlight due to rock chip? Paint didn't look fresh.

As a prior Passat owner, I can attest. Makes me laugh and basically the reason I dumped mine before all that started to go down.

Had a crush on the Volvo V60 Polestar lately
(especially white)
enough of a crush to considering actually paying (way too much $) for one, but of course when Volvo actually has a desirable car, they only make a couple hundred of them.
How much are those?

I think I read somewhere that you'll be able to buy Polestar parts & software for your regular Volvo soon. A loaded out V60 is like $45k so I'd imagine the Polestars would be pretty goddamn steep.

yeah, think i heard high 50's, low 60's.
Oof!! $60k for a car with the same interior for the last 15 years? Do these have like, Bluetooth, and satellite navigation, and one touch auto windows?
Joking aside I do applaud volvo on finally innovating and stepping it up with the new XC90

yeah $60k and its loaded with every luxo gadget and option that you can get. with a 350hp boosted I6 and haldex rear biased AWD.
a loaded 328xi msport wagon is the same price with a 2.0 and looks like dogshit. Id take the volvo over it 100 times.
and nobody else makes a wagon, so volvo and bmw are your only choices if you want a new one (or an e-class if you like skippering a boat)
now if Jaguar brought his over thats a different story
