I think I found a good solution to mounting up the gauge. Guy on SV Rider built drawings which mimick a now defunct company's product. Really nice template I can follow and cut. What I think I'll do is instead of running the supports down to the headlight, I'll run them to the pinch bolts to keep it tidy. This should do a better job of hiding the wiring. I may drill 2 extra small holes in the middle to zip tie the wiring harness up and out of the way or use a small brake-line hose clamp I'll steal off of Ryan's Miata while he is out of town...
