It matter a lot for a Miata, both oil filter and oil quality. Only use a Mazda filter on a Miata.
I was wondering that today. I only run Toyota filters on my truck and Toyota fluids. I buy the filters by the case. I'll run by the mazda place and order a case soon. I grabbed the fram because it was what they had at Advance (No Napa stores within decent distance) and it has the texture on the edge to make it easy to get off. I hope everyone is okay with where the Miata sits now. I'll give myself a little pat on the back for fixing this mess so far even if it's not good enough for you guys. :bootyshake:
Scott, how do you feel about the extended length Bosch ones that FM sells?
