The cost to title resister tag is negligible to me.. But if I pay $3000 tops for a truck and get to keep $3400( I have some money coming my way my mom owes me for cash for clunkering my truck) I can sleep soundly at night knowing I have $3400 in the bank for when SHTF.. I'm not expecting it too but It's nice to know I have that in the bank as opposed to planning on spending $5000+ for a good condition leggy and having only $1000 tops in the bank and the next week the head gasket blowing on it..(the 2.5's are notorious for this if not taken care of).. That's my quick financial math for the day. Plus $3400 is more than enough to spend on a "play/beater" car..
