the wagon BRZ looks cool to me... and I would think lowered, and not much heavier than the BRZ would handle as well. But I would imagine not be a big seller.
The Nissan however... THAT is ugly. It appears the #1 design consideration was european pedestrian crash safety standards. :?:

the hatchback thing is kind of cool and all (except not on a 2 door) but the lift kit and plastic cladding is an abomination
I'd take that BRZ wagon in a 4 door as long as I could lower it, it was AWD, and made or could make with not a ton of money, like 150% the power the current BRZ makes. Plastic shit needs to be redesigned but could be cool. It'll never happen so I'll just get an 05-08 outback xt

You just described a wrx wagon.

Except I don't like the way those look and they don't look as long as an Outback. And didn't they stop making those after 04 or something. And now they look kinda dated.
Edit: i lied. I guess they have them after the bug eye and a quick Google search shows hawk eyes exist with that stupid Tribeca middle grille thing. They don't look that bad. I think I still like the Ob XT/legy gt wagon better

Uhh after Google searching 2013 wrx wagon, it returns a bunch of cars that look a lot like the wrx hatchback. Is there a difference?

I don't look at a hatchback as a wagon. Hatch's have short stubby cargo areas. Wagons have longer cargo areas
Edit: And Yes Rex, I probably was

Traditionally, the definition has gone:
Hatchback: 2 side doors, mostly vertical rear door
Fastback: 2 side doors, mostly horizontal rear door.
Wagon: 4 side doors, mostly vertical rear door.
You won't find the word 'wagon' in any of Subaru's literature, or hatchback for that matter. It's "4 door" and "5 door". The reason most companies started using "hatchback" for 5 door cars is because Americans are retarded and think that "wagon" immediately means this:
If you GIS "WRX Wagon" you'll literally find 5 doors from every gen from GF to GR.

Well it appears it is a debatable topic and I'm not completely ignorant. I want a wagon wagon. Not a 5 door stubby hatchback unless sti and I can't afford that shit.

I guess my point is that there has never been (not in 02, not in 04, not in 06, not ever) a "Wagon" WRX like you're talking about (IMHO). The second gen might have had more rear overhang from a styling perspective, but then so did the sedan.
See? Sameysame.
Now again, it might have had more overhang than the 3rd gen, but I don't think overall there's any significant difference:
The second gens did have more cargo room, (owing to the longer wheelbase and new suspension geometry) I won't argue with you there. But the overall length is the same as the sedan for both cars.
1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442
I would somewhat agree. But then again, I didn't say I was looking for a wrx wagon
I said I wanted an outback or a better version or what started this, that brz concept thing

front end needs some work (and i doubt those headlights are high enough to be DOT legal anyway) but otherwise it looks promising.
rwd, 2800lbs, FR-S sized, and would probably end up with about 260 or so hp using the same engine as the optima sx.
