WTB: early 90's small pickup truck (Toyota 4x4 preferred)
#1
Sold the Accord, looking to buy a small truck as a useful 2nd, winter vehicle and motorcycle transport. Less than $3k. '94 Toyota 4x4 would seem quite ideal, but I'm sure there are comparable options. Cheap, ugly, slow is good, but must be mechanically sound, I'm not looking for a project. I should probably know how long the bed needs to be to fit a bike, but I don't.

Why didnt you just cut the back half of the roof off the accord?

I know a guy who is selling a 92 toyota truck, 4wd, 22RE, its in good shape, but he wants $3800 for it.

Its a five speed, and if i had the money, i'd pick it up in an instant

Stay the fuck away from 3.0L V6 toyota trucks, if youre interested in one of those.

Good to know, I wasn't really thinking I would need the V6, and if it isn't as reliable as the 4, then forget it.

Definitely post up - get pics if you can.

I've alway had a hard on for those old trucks.

They're still pretty reliable, but if something does fuck up, and you have to fix it, you'll understand why the 4 is the way to go. We cringe any time a 3.0L comes into the shop for anything other than an oil change.
