WTB: early 90's small pickup truck (Toyota 4x4 preferred) - BLINGMW - 08-10-2007 Sold the Accord, looking to buy a small truck as a useful 2nd, winter vehicle and motorcycle transport. Less than $3k. '94 Toyota 4x4 would seem quite ideal, but I'm sure there are comparable options. Cheap, ugly, slow is good, but must be mechanically sound, I'm not looking for a project. I should probably know how long the bed needs to be to fit a bike, but I don't. - .RJ - 08-10-2007 Why didnt you just cut the back half of the roof off the accord? - Evan - 08-10-2007 http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/ ... 23915.html http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/ ... 07767.html http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/ ... 76712.html - NTIman - 08-11-2007 I know a guy who is selling a 92 toyota truck, 4wd, 22RE, its in good shape, but he wants $3800 for it. Its a five speed, and if i had the money, i'd pick it up in an instant Stay the fuck away from 3.0L V6 toyota trucks, if youre interested in one of those. - BLINGMW - 08-13-2007 NTIman Wrote:Stay the fuck away from 3.0L V6 toyota trucks, if youre interested in one of those. Good to know, I wasn't really thinking I would need the V6, and if it isn't as reliable as the 4, then forget it. - Jeff - 08-13-2007 We are trading in an 87 Toyota truck tomorrow...I'll know more then. - Ginger - 08-13-2007 TurboOmni08 Wrote:We are trading in an 87 Toyota truck tomorrow...I'll know more then. Definitely post up - get pics if you can. I've alway had a hard on for those old trucks. - JustinG - 08-14-2007 how bout an early model might max with a 4g63 swap  - Jeff - 08-14-2007 white97dsm Wrote:how bout an early model Dodge Ram 50 with a 4g63 swap  Fixed that for you. - NTIman - 08-15-2007 BLINGMW Wrote:NTIman Wrote:Stay the fuck away from 3.0L V6 toyota trucks, if youre interested in one of those. They're still pretty reliable, but if something does fuck up, and you have to fix it, you'll understand why the 4 is the way to go. We cringe any time a 3.0L comes into the shop for anything other than an oil change. - Jeff - 08-23-2007 that 87 was a busted ass pile. One of the guys at the garage got it for spare parts. |
