As someone who works for a company that services gas fireplaces I'll 3rd what everyone is saying. They are becoming very hard to find replacement parts for. We have to order some things straight from the factory and then wait 4-6 weeks just for the part to get to us. Also, not many companies service them any more. We were like the only ones around Northern Virginia to service them. They are expensive and royal pains in the ass as far as my company is concerned.

in feersty's defense, there are shitty parts of henrico. the west end near short pump (where you are) is not one of them.
