Uh, no truer words have ever been spoken!!! I played until 3am last night and I had to work today
I should have just started out with the Jap cars... I haven't touched a Euro car since like the first 10 races. The two most powerful "stock" cars I have right now are the Sparco EVO and Nissan 54360LMF232 (no clue what the car is). I do need to build an Audi and a couple of other cars to compete in the vs. battles.... I may put together a Supra swapped IS300 for shits and giggles
The 'Teg is around 550hp now, boosted and a complete monster. It's kind of funny, on the straights the car feels like it pulls as hard as mine did on the 560+hp map. I can't get traction off the starting line, but what do you expect with a FWD horsepower machine?
Have any of you guys played around with the adjustable gear and differential settings? I haven't really, but figured I'd mess around with the 'Teg's final drive ratio to see if I can get more pull out of it and less top end. Maybe click it up to 3.93s or 4.10s. I'm also still trying to figure out what the best suspension settings are. I'll usually add a bit of negative camber to the front and rear, drop the ride height as far as I can, and stiffen up the springs and sways to about 50-60%.
I still dorifto really bad with RWD cars though unless I make a really conscious effort to ease off of the throttle coming out of turns... with the FWD and AWD cars you can pretty much just power through each turn with minimal liftage. The only RWD car that I've been able to manage reasonably well is my Miata.
