So solder them and you have fixed the glitch or is there more work involved that I am not seeing?

I replaced it with a brand new OEM (Denso) Sensor

I dont think so - not having a solid, soldered/heat wrapped connection could introduce a lot of noise into the signal

nope, conductivity does not need a hard soldered connection (in fact depending on the conductivity of the solder, it could hurt the connection), and thats not how signal noise works - you must have a source or generator of the noise. (if it were, high end home theater connections would be soldered)
