I just ran off about 75 copies of our flier and get them approved, we just need to throw them up around campus. I'm gonna need help with it though, the plan is to meet up tonight (2/18/04) at 8:30pm and split up the campus.

i made a pretty decent breather for my car today. the basic concept was that i put a fuel filter inline with the breather hose (which then connects to my intake ahead of the TB) to catch any oil vapor. i've seen pics of it done to other cars and it works, although not as well as a $200 oil catch can. overall i spent like 10 bucks. here's what i used:

clear fuel filter from autozone - 3 bucks
clear pvc tubing from homo depot - 5 bucks
some collars (the kind you screw to tighten) from hd - 2 bucks

i kept the rubber hose that comes straight off the valve cover, since it fit the fuel filter fine. so i put a collar over the rubber tube, and tightened it to the fuel filter. then, for the filter-to-intake connection, i cut a piece of clear pvc and connected that up with collars. and la-dee-freakin-da, we have a ghetto breather.

As of 12:25pm, we have a member gallery for paid members. You can visit it by clicking the gallery link at the top menu of any MMSports.org page.

This gallery is one of several benefits to becoming a paid MM member. You can post pictures that will be able to be seen anywhere in the world. Soon, we'll also have member @mmsports.org email addresses. You also get a little blurb in our members section.

Hi everyone, I just today heard about madison motorsports and it's about time haha. I've been lookin for a JMU car club for quite some time. What im wonderin though, when it starts to warm up some, do you guys all get together somewhere in hburg and just hang out like on friday/saturday nights? I know in charlottesville on friday/saturday everyone brings their cars out for some trips up and down 29 and hang out and BS about cars/show off. I dunno, i drive the silver 93 celica with veilside kit thats molded on with 17s, if anyone has seen me around campus. I dunno, im definitely gonna join, just wishin there were more meetings/gatherings, unless theres separate groups that do, i dunno, lemme know if you guys have other extra curricular meetings, ill definitely be interested in those too.
